When you bore me,
You endured all ridicule because of me,
Limiting yourself so I could have,
Backing me up when I was criticized,
When I turned into puberty,
You taught me how to be a good girl,
How to hold myself in highest regard,
And to honor myself
You are to me the truest ally I ever had,
I can talk to you about anything and you listen,
You offer wise counsel whenever I need it,
Even with heavy burdens you keep it all in order.
I could never ask for a better mother.
