Long stoned road

I have ventured on thousand roads,
Some with ease, some with difficulty,
I have witnessed life’s beauty,
And stepped on green manicured grass,
Carpeting earth’s warm embrace
Now I find myself here,
In the seemingly endless stoned road,
With trees dancing at the winds command
And with my eyes glued to that destination,

The scorching sun reminds me,
In harsh constancy,
That I am still at my journey,
In the company of solitude,
And lifeless existence,
Not even the birds’ early serenades,
Or the hope of victorious finish,
Gives me strength

I keep pressing on,
Hastening my steps,
Hoping that I will taste the ends promise,
Beyond the horizon,
Where my destiny awaits me
